Today is World TB Day.

Please click the links on the right for more information.
We must stay informed on TB because if we don’t, the already killer but curable disease will come back and attack us like never before.
I never knew much about it until recently so I suggest you click on the links to get a better understanding of this curable disease.
I mean there are cases of multi-drug resistancy already. Can you believe how smart the bacteria must be for it to have so mang drugs trying to kill it and yet it is able to morph and become even more resistant?!!
So please read up about it. Here’s an article I spotted in TheStar from Reuters -> “Drug resistant tuberculosis rising, US agency says.” (Click to read)

On Wednesday, health officials came to our house to ask questions… Wooh… we were visited by the government people. They wanted more details on Papa’s sickness and they are quite efficient I suppose. It’s taken them about 6-8 weeks to come find us.

Today, I left the house at 7:45am (already late. I wanted to leave at 7:30am but couldn’t get up) and arrived Summit USJ at 8:20am. Had breakfast, something simple like cereal, toast, orange juice and tea but the problem was that they were mighty slow with everything! They held on to my change for at least 15 minutes. I had to pour my own cereal and I sat down for about 10 minutes for me to hear they did not have anymore jam left. I had requested for strawberry jam and they said they didn’t have it and had raspberry or marmalade so I said raspberry and in the end they didn’t have raspberry either! So I said I only wanted to eat cereal. Grr. Then they took another few minutes to finally hand over my change.
Right and our booth was next to guess who’s? STREAMYX. I was telling my boss how I felt like complaining to them. Mid-way through the morning I did talk to those TMNET agents and they were nice. We did an exchange of services. They signed up to our service and we… well, we just complained to them. hahah.
There was hardly any traffic to be honest. I was told tha the open day would start at 9am but it actually started at 10am. It took their IT Administrator the better half of the morning to get our wi-fi up.
Right, I should stop now. I have to work this Sunday morning. OH! The sadness…
