The songs are pretty amazing!
Dangerous has a very ’80s vibe to it. Reminds me of Michael Jackson for some reason. The OLD MJ, of course…
After listening to it about 3-4 times now, I have to say they grow on you… very catchy. Even the ballad, although a bit dreary at the beginning, it gets better near the end.
In my opinion, these two songs have a very theatrical feel to it.
Especially Dangerous! It sounds like a suspense thriller almost… and you can almost imagine someone walking and trying to inform everybody that… “he’s dangerous!”
I Lost You has a very strong beat and I am guessing this is her heartbeat since she’s all alone and upset. She does sound rather pained in the song too so at least it’s very emotive. In fact, she sounded like Jewel in some parts.
In all honesty, I’ve never been able to imagine the storyline of any song so this is new to me. How theatrical.
Let’s get it out there guys! Get the word out! Get the music out! Give Katharine McPhee the exposure she deserves! ‘Cos this CD single is sassy, sexy and definitely one of the best from an American Idol ever!
The single comes out officially December 19, 2006 but it doesn’t mean we can’t cause a mad ruckus before that! Buy her single at Wal-Mart now! It’s currently a Wal-Mart exclusive … Oh yes, Christmas is coming up so give it away as gifts!! It’s a cheap but desireable gift.

woohoo!! kat’s single rocks!!!! i think Dangerous will hit the charts big time! it’s catchy, it’s mysterious, it’s like a full load of dynamite ready to explode! can hear the amount of energy inside her when she sang! i can see her doing this song on stage for the next opening of MTV video award. THat’s how hot i think this song is!! GREAT JOB KAT!! now all she needs is a really really good video clip and this is gonna be the talk to town! woohoo!

Sigh…did you hear I Lost You from this website? On my computer, she sounds like a chipmunk, I just want to see who else has this problem.

Yah, chipmunks on my computer - I actually think it improves her voice. Not a fan of Dangerous really either, it’s okay but doesn’t showcase her voice very well and it’s kind of gimmicky.

WOW Kat Mcphee’s 2nd CD single ’s out!!?
I love the two new songs… and Dangerous is my favourite also. I love its beat and the mysterious feel in it
She put a right amount of emotion in I Lost You as well, which make the song really touching

I DONT THINK THESE SONGS SHOW HER GREAT VOICE. I LIKED OPEN TOES. THAT SEEMED TO SHOW HER VOICE MORE. IT MIGHT BE ME I REALLY DONT HEAR TO MUCH OF HER VOICE. I THINK HER VOICE IS THE BEST. JUST NOT SURE ABOUT THESE SONGS.

I like these songs, as I do the other three that were leaked. Kat is an amazing new talent and is showing that she can sing in any genre. Can’t wait for the full CD to be released on Jan. 30. It’s going to be a great mix of sounds. Go Kat!!!!!!

could you tell me please whether the voice in the chorus of “over it” is kat´s, becouse i´ve been playing that song over and over and i find it hard to believe that´s her voice. i mean is excellent, really emotional, but perhaps is someone from the backing vocals. if that´s actually her…she is brilliant.

The more I listen to these two songs the more I’m nuts about them. Kat is actually making me love this type of music. Also, every song I’ve heard that may or not be on her upcoming CD in Jan. is really good and all have a different feel to them. No monotony for Kat! She loves diversity in her music as she does in her fashion. That’s one of the things that so great and exciting about her. Both these songs sound soooooo different from one another. Her full CD is going to be a fantastic mix of sounds!

I am a friend of Kat’s on myspace. She said that it’s possible that dangerous and i lost you are not even on the cd. Supposedly, walmart released in their ad a long time ago that her cd was coming out on Dec 19, which at one time it was. To fulfil walmart’s part, that had to come out with some type of cd, which would be her Dangerous/I Lost You single.
I have called all the radio stations here and they didn’t get a leak of the songs. They haven’t even heard about them, which means, yes, it was only a walmart exclusive. Don’t look forward for either song to be on her cd.
