I’m so sorry for not having had anything to say the last few days. I sit here and start topics but I am somehow unable to complete them.
I took some time off yesterday to buy X’mas gifts. I was somewhat successful.
I realised I am a practical person. I can’t buy something silly for somebody. There has to be use for my gifts. Very strange. I think this is why I hate gift shopping. I mean of course I have bought pointless gifts but it is on quite rare occasions. I need to have a reason to buy that particular gift.
I haven’t finished X’mas shopping yet.

Two days ago, someone said I have an independent spirit. I only met this person briefly once and talked to her once on the phone but somehow she was able to deduce that I have an independent spirit.
She’s not wrong though and again this goes back to the point that I am so easy to read. People can read me like a book and there I go, thinking to myself that I am some coy and mysterious person when I am not.
Some people might equate this independent spirit to loner’s syndrome but that person didn’t know I have loner’s syndrome.
So I am an island.
Do you think I am an independent spirit?
What makes an independent spirit?

A week or two ago, I met up with someone who asked my opinion on a certain issue. At the time, I believe I said something like I could care less what happened. It’s true… it really wasn’t any of my business and if that person felt I might have opposing views, that person was wrong. The word that came to me yesterday or maybe the day before that was prerogative.
It’s your prerogative…
Most people don’t hear me out or take in what I have to say anyway. There have been times when I have sat through conversations where my opinion has not been sought at all so I’m pretty much used to that kind of treatment.
I tend to see things in a very warped manner. This probably links back to the independent spirit theme from above. Of course, I am honoured somewhat that you would care to hear what I have to say but I have been rather un-opinionated of late which explains the sporadic posts on this blog.
