Daddy’s Little Girls

This movie looks really nice. I really want to watch it.

Although following the traditional white romantic love stories, you got the social class struggle, the black/gospel aspect to it and I think it’s interesting that black people associate themselves to gospel music so closely. I don’t think it’s a bad thing. Gospel was made for their voices … it’s what makes gospel gospel. If you get my drift.

This movie’s got the gospel choir, it’s got the romantic storyline.. and the best part it makes fathers look good. Another one of those inspiring movies that feature fathers at their best (reminds me of Pursuit of Happyness a bit)… we forget that there are fathers out there who have sacrificed for their kids too…
