A commenter actually sent me a worship song I was looking for and informed me the title of the song is actually, “Tetap Cinta Yesus“. Thanks to her I now have this song and 2 others which are just as beautiful and meaningful. Thank you!
One of the songs she sent is called, “Allah Peduli”. I sat here perplexed. It is confusing for a Malaysian because we do not refer to God as Allah in our country. Instead, we refer to Him as Tuhan. Read of the disparity in the links at the bottom of this post.
The song is so meaningful. I love it.
Here are the lyrics to the song and the translated version below:
Banyak perkara yang tak dapat ku mengerti
Mengapakah harus terjadi
Di dalam kehidupan ini
Satu perkara
Yang kusimpan dalam hati
Tiada sesuatu kan terjadi tanpa ALLAH peduli
ALLAH mengerti ALLAH peduli
Segala persoalan yang kita hadapi
Di dalam kehidupan ini
Tak akan pernah
Di tinggalkanNya kita bergumul sendiri
Sebab ALLAH mengerti
There are many things I do not understand
Why would those things happen
In this life
One thing
I hold in my heart
Nothing that happens can escape God’s attention
God knows, God cares
Every problem we face
God knows, God cares
In this life
There will never be an occasion
When he leaves us to struggle on our own
Because God knows
In Malaysia we are not allowed to use Allah because the government fears the Malays will be confused. Well, I never knew my fellow countrymen were unable to think for themselves. You can read the different perspectives below. Are the non-Muslims bullied in this country? And we say the Communist government controls the church in China. We have that happening here, even if some may slight, right here in Malaysia!
