Gossip Girl Premieres Sept 19, 2007 on CW

Anyway, CW has stuck up snippets and trailers for Gossip Girl premiering September 19, 2007. YEAY!

It’s based on a bunch of school kids who attend rich schools on the upper east side of Manhattan.

Nate seems like his confused self but I think he’s supposed to be more of a druggie. I wonder how they are going to allow this story to unravel on television. The books definitely took a neat twist here and there…

Jenny seems really pretty in the television adaptation. She’s very awkward in the book…

Dan goes really warped in the book… his caffeine and smoking addiction overtakes him. I wonder if they are going to drag out the Serena and Dan romance…

Chuck plays a really small part as the book series progresses but since they are giving him a prime time spot here on the CW, he may be here to stay.

And FINALLY, BLAIR!!!! I love Blair. She becomes such an interesting character and they chose a really pretty girl to play her. I love Blair in the trailer below. Watch at 00:17! She’s gorgeous… I think she’s even prettier than Serena and that’s not supposed to be! However, I would consider Blair more of a main character than Serena if you rely on the books that is. Sure, Serena’s always around and about but we always seem to be in Blair’s head. She’s cool though Blair… very camp, very drama queen… absolutely the best character… hopefully they wrote her well for the show but I shouldn’t worry… she’s so pretty…
